When you step into acceptance, the world opens up in beautiful and unexpected ways. Designer Dave's "Left Foot Crew" design is a tribute to a lesson he learned from his skateboarding years. Dave's a goofy rider, so he leads with his right foot – that makes him different from most skateboarders. A tale as old as time: you're a bit different, and it triggers the bigots to big. It's not easy being different. But when you're goofy, you're goofy. As he faced the grind head-on, started landing tricks and getting air, he realised his goofy stance didn't matter. He accepted his natural tendency to step out of line, to do things differently, to choose his own path. You don't have to follow in other people's footsteps. Your own are good enough. -
Do you swim against the tide? Introducing Ghost Fish: unassuming and quiet but also undefeated and persistent. Ghost Fish doesn't make waves; it moves with purpose, following its internal compass of integrity, and if that means swimming in the opposite direction of the crowd, then so be it.
