Close Encounters of the Croydon Kind
It’s a regular day in Croydon, our resident artist is strolling along not doing anything arty, just collecting a machine for work. Ever alert to the world’s unnoticed artistry, a piece of graffiti catches his eye. Not on a wall, or a train or a bus stop, but on the most unassuming canvas: a Croydon Council bin. Greyffiti: a grey alien sketched in graffiti’s vibrant style. The design here is a sketch from memory of that simple picture on the side of a bin.
Extraordinary sights exist in ordinary places, Greyffiti celebrates the beauty of everyday life for those of you who keep an open mind. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure
