Hello, fellow kids. Grime is an echo from the streets.

Ah, the 1980s, where the pulsating rhythms of hip hop first echoed through the UK streets. It was the Golden Age of Hip Hop, and Designer Dave, like others of his time, didn’t just bang-bang boogie to the rhythm of the boogie, the beat – he wore the clothes, too.  In a Tacchini tracksuit, pristine white Nikes, and his prized Ocean Pacific surf shirt, it was his first taste of label pride; the thrill of wearing a brand and being “the brand”.

Fast forward, and Dave’s be_grime_1 art (where our drip logo makes its first appearance) is his tribute to today’s Grime style, and a reminder that while times change, the essence of street style stays the same. History doesn’t just repeat; it’s a remix.

It’s more than just a label – it’s a legacy.
