Connection Across the Cosmos

On the ultimate party planet of Euphorix, the Glastonbinary Festival is going off! It’s the event of the aeon for young beings from all over the universe. This year’s main attraction? None other than Novana’s Kurt Cometbain.

Among the revellers is I-Le, an alien from planet Xetros who loves getting lost in cosmic beats – nearby is Roto, a quirky little robot from Nebulox-5, right now, oblivious to his surroundings, lost in the music, his circuit boards sizzling with excitement.

A cool thing about Euphorix’s party scene is the wormholes leading straight to front of stage. Usually, you pay a hefty fee to pass through, but fate had other plans. Lost in the moment and throwing shapes all over the show, I-Le bumps into Roto. Losing his balance, Roto reaches out and grabs I-Le. Together, they tumble through the wormhole…

…straight to the front of the Pyramoon stage! The place to be tonight! There’s no cosmic fisty-cuffs here. Saying, “Hi, how are you?” in their native languages – completely unintelligible to each other – their smiles say it all. Breaking into spontaneous dance, broadcast on the big screen, the “Robo-Alien Shuffle,” a dance transcending language, circuitry, and biological makeup.

In a universe of difference, the desire for connection transcends language, form, and space.
